Delete your Cohlta account

Cohlta is made by Contrivance Inc. You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app or by email.

In the app

1. Open Cohlta and go to your profile.
2. Open Settings and tap Delete Account.
3. Confirm with your password. If you sign in with Apple or Google, you confirm by signing in with that account again.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

By email

If you can't get into the app, email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Cohlta account". We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your profile, username and photo.
• Your videos, stories and comments.
• The messages you sent. The other person sees "Message deleted" where they were.
• Your likes, saves, follows, plans, Ask conversations and preferences.

What we keep, and for how long

• Reports other people made about your account or content, kept as a safety record for as long as the law requires.
• Crash and diagnostic logs, kept for up to 90 days.
• Copies in our database backups, which are deleted after 30 days.
